A curious black bear casually wandered near the ceremony site, doing what the local bears often do, making the rounds of the golf course and checking the nearby garbage bins for snacks. It’s something the staff at Golden Eagle Golf Club are very familiar with, and they handled it calmly and quickly to make sure everyone stayed at a safe distance. The whole moment was surprisingly peaceful and even a little surreal, a reminder of just how close this venue sits to the wild beauty of the surrounding mountains and forests. It became one of those unexpected stories that couples and guests laugh about long after the wedding day is over.
