Emotive & documentary wedding PHOTOGRAPHY

Capturing the emotions & moments and all the things in between.

I'm Kristina, a Vancouver wedding photographer documenting wildly in love couples as they celebrate one of the most meaningful days of their lives. My approach is simple: your wedding day should feel natural, joyful, and completely yours; and your photographs should reflect exactly that.

Weddings are filled with moments that happen quickly and quietly. A deep breath before walking down the aisle. Your partner’s reaction when they first see you. The way your friends erupt with laughter during speeches or the way your parents look at you when they think no one is watching.

Those are the moments that matter most to me.

Because years from now, those are the moments that will bring you right back to how your day actually felt.

A wedding day that feels like you

Every couple celebrates differently. Some weddings are large celebrations surrounded by hundreds of friends and family. Others are quiet, intimate gatherings in a backyard or somewhere deep in the mountains with just a few of your favorite people. There is no right or wrong way to get married. What matters is that the day feels true to who you are. My role as your photographer is to document your wedding in a way that feels effortless and genuine. I guide you when needed, but most of the time I’m simply observing and anticipating the moments as they unfold naturally. The result is a collection of photographs that feel honest, emotional, and timeless.

Images that don’t just show what your wedding looked like but remind you exactly what it felt like to live it.

The little moments matter most

Weddings are made up of hundreds of small moments that often go unnoticed in the rush of the day. Your dress catching the wind during portraits. Your partner reaching for your hand without thinking. Friends squeezing together on the dance floor as the night gets louder and more joyful. These subtle details are often the moments couples tell me they treasure most when they see their photos. They are the in-between moments. The unscripted ones. The ones that tell the real story of your wedding.

Creating space for real connection

Many couples tell me they’re nervous about being in front of a camera. That’s completely normal.

My goal is never to make your wedding day feel like a photoshoot.

Instead, I create space for you to be present with the people you love while I quietly document what unfolds. When portraits are needed, I guide you in a relaxed way so you never feel awkward or overly posed.

By the end of the day, most couples tell me they barely noticed the camera at all.

And that’s exactly the way it should be.

Because when you're fully present in your wedding day, the most meaningful photographs happen naturally.

Weddings across Vancouver and British Columbia

I photograph weddings throughout Vancouver and British Columbia, from elegant city venues to scenic mountain landscapes and intimate outdoor celebrations. Whether your day is a grand celebration, a cozy gathering, or an adventurous elopement, I capture it with care and attention to the moments that matter most. Weddings are stories made up of the people you love, the emotions you feel, and the fleeting moments you might not even notice. Every image preserves not just what happened, but how it felt.

More About Me

Over the years, I’ve been incredibly grateful to have my work recognized by the couples and community I photograph. I was honoured to be voted one of the Top Wedding Photographer through CommunityVotes Abbotsford (silver medal), a recognition that means so much because it comes directly from the people who have experienced my work firsthand. I can also be found on Loverly, a wedding inspiration platform where couples discover beautiful venues, real weddings, and talented vendors while planning their day. While awards and features are always exciting, what matters most to me is the trust couples place in me to document one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
